If you can't launch a program or game correctly, you may need to run it as an administrator, in compatibility mode or other parameters. Although you can make these tweaks on an executable's properties window, AdvancedRun places more options at your disposal. It gives you the possibility of making various decisions, regarding how a program should run, before you launch its executable.

AdvancedRun is distributed as a freeware application, for all popular Windows platforms. It comes as a single executable, which can be extracted from a ZIP archive, so there is no need to go through an installation process. The application doesn't have any significant requirements, so you can run it without any problems.

All settings can be made on a single window, by simply clicking a series of check boxes and selecting different options in drop-down menus. Obviously, you have to target an executable first, through a standard Open dialog. Once your settings are complete, you only need to hit a Run button, in the lower region of the interface. It is also possible to save your configurations and to load them at a later date.

Besides adding command-line parameters to an executable or running it in admin and compatibility mode, there are many other settings you can make. For example, you can place the targeted program's window in a specific location on the screen, parse the environment variables inside the command-line string, disable visual themes, disable scaling on high DPI settings and more.

Another aspect that is worth mentioning is the fact that you can choose between different environment variables. Besides using the current system environment variables, you can use custom variables as well, or merge them with the system variables.
